Spring has finally sprung in Texas. For those of you that don't know, Bluebonnet is the state flower. I will tell you one thing, my little bluebonnets sure had fun playing in them. For one second we lost Lexie because she was laying on her blanket and the flowers were pretty tall. But, thankfully when she started to coo, we were able to find her. I couldn't get any of Lexie awake. She was just not happy with the sun shining on her.
This blog gives our family and friends a chance to be involved in our lives and watch our children grow. We have been blessed with four beautiful children; Ethan, Gracie, Lexie & Eli. Lexie and Eli were both born with Hydrocephalus. Siblings with Hydrocephalus is rare, yet not unheard of.

Great Grandparents Visit
This last week Eric's Grandparents, Germ and Lapiz, came out for a visit. The kids always love having family visitors over and I especially think they really enjoy when Germ and Lapiz come to visit because they never seem to get tired. I do have to admit that they do an amazing job of keeping up with the kiddos and when they leave it doesn't look like they are so exhausted a bus has hit them. They really enjoy their time with them and just seem to have fun. While they were here, Eric and Lapiz did a phenomenal job landscaping our backyard and I will have to post pictures at another time to show off all of their hard work. Towards the end of their visit, the playgroup that we are apart of had an Easter Brunch on Saturday. We enjoyed some yummy food and the kids hunted Easter eggs. Unfortunately, by Saturday night it was their time to leave but it was a great week visiting with them and we can't wait till the next time.

Fort Ashe
We decided that today was going to be Fort Ashe Day. Ethan and Gracie love building forts and do it at least once a day, but today I joined in the mix and we had a really great time. Even Ethan replied with "It is a great day to build a tent.....erh I mean fort". They both got into it and Lexie seemed to enjoy herself as well. We read books, used flashlights to make puppets, played Cowboys and Indians, and we even ate lunch in our fort. My poor back and knees are aching, but it was worth it. Of course, what is pretend play with out dress-up?!
Lunch time
They were overjoyed when I told them they could eat in it.
Who knew eating on the floor would be so much fun.
