Nerf or Nothing for #11!

Like any boy his age, Ethan LOVES Nerf guns.  He's either playing with one, researching the next one to buy or running around with neighborhood kids having Nerf gun wars.  They even have their own set of rules and all seem to really enjoy it.  So I wasn't shocked when he mentioned that he wanted to celebrate his 11th year by having a Nerf party.  Thankfully there is a huge hanger on base that is primarily used for family recreation, so it made perfect sense to have it there.  The kids had so much space to run around in and it was nice to have a contained area for the crazy amount of bullets that would need to be picked up.  Ethan and his friends had a great time!

Along with his love for Nerf guns, he also loves playing sports, minecraft and legos.  He's still a Star Wars junkie and enjoys riding his scooter and bike around the neighborhood.  He got straight A's on his last report card and his teacher has only had great things to say about him.  He's still as sweet as ever with Lexie and Eli.  Gracie and him have their sweet moments, but they don't hide their not so sweet moments either.  He's super easygoing, doesn't stress too easily and thinks yo momma jokes are the funniest jokes known to man.  Even though I have to tackle him on a daily basis to get kiss, we love his sweetness and complete innocence regarding life!

Life in Between

Ethan looked very cute with his trumpet at the school play.

A cute basket I created for the squadron raffle!

This pumpkin harvest cake is a always a favorite!   It was auctioned off at a base function.

The winter sure does provide days where the most you want to do is sleep.

This little guy caught himself in a pickle.

These gals sure know how to make brunch fun!

UNM was winning so Gracie did the obligatory
"Everyone's a lobo" chant.

These two cuties were having too much on the plane ride home after Christmas.

We like to travel light.
We never get to, but it sounds nice. Ha!

I consider myself lucky that these two are still my closest friends.

They lasted until midnight on NYE and loved every bit of it!

Nice thing about South Dakota is that you rarely have to buy ice.

I taught the kiddos my favorite game and it has now become a family favorite!

The gift that keeps on giving!
Our family loves this Christmas gift because we love our movie nights!

These guys roam the base and tease Eric.

This was taken when I concluded that shoveling snow isn't for me.

However, HIIT workouts are.  It was super tough, but worth it!

I can't get enough this guy and never will!

Eric and celebrated our 13th anniversary racing 40mph go-karts.  Afterwards we went to dinner at a local Italian restaurant where Eric took this picture of me using is watch.  I was too busy listening to him that I didn't even see his phone in the corner.  I love how much he makes me smile!
