Life in Between

Star Wars Episode 7 release night for this straight A student!
Popcorn, coke, and 3D glasses made it an even sweeter night.

I heart him!

Gracie drew this in 5 minutes after dinner one night.
I especially love the shadowing.

12th Anniversary Dinner!

Sheriff Eli is the name!

100th Day of school celebration

Girl Scout Hustling.
What you need?  Thin Mints, Samoas, Trefoils..we got it.

Field trip with my Gracie Goose to watch a Cinderella Play.

Longer hair means less time doing hair.
I like big buns and I can not lie.

AUM military appreciation night.
AUM was a fantastic host.
Chick-Fil-A for dinner, bag full of AUM goodies and we got to watch a basketball game.

Super Bowl L
We don't miss around when it comes to food and football.
Each kid picked their favorite dish and that's what I made.
It was a night of favorites!

Sometimes I ask God if I can have a do-over and come back as Gracie.
This chick is pretty freaking awesome.

I got to accompany Lexie and her classmates to the pet store!  Watching a handful of puppies and special friends has to be the equivalent to watching an explosion of rainbows and unicorns.
It was that memorable!

Got this keepsake in the mail the other day.  It was taken on Eric's last day of work in D.C.
I didn't realize it that day, but I'm totally digging the coordinating outfits.

Cast is finally off, but the question is, has he learned his limits?
Dun-Dun-Duuuuun!

Counting down the days until our next Disney adventure!
Even if we had no children, I would still make this for myself.
Vacations are awesome!

EIGHT is GREAT!

Our sweet little girl who has the craziest personality and who adds so much love and funk to our lives has turned 8!  She is a great big sister and my right hand gal.  She loves anything and everything about Presidents and First Ladies.  I'm loving her toothless laughs and all of her quirky facial expressions.  She is quick with the comebacks, which I don't always appreciate, but respect nonetheless.  She listens to music all day and is constantly recording herself singing, dancing, and playing her drums.  She is super serious about her school work, and loves checking in on her sister throughout the school day.  Gracie adores helping out her special needs friends and I'm so lucky that I get to witness her loving heart.  She still loves annoying her big brother and will try to use her manipulation skills on him no matter how many times he says no. Despite all the ups and downs with raising a little diva, we are so happy that we get front row seats and can't wait to see what's next for our Gracie Goose.

Gracie and 12 of her friends celebrated her birthday at a Karaoke Bar.
Music, dancing, food, and cake made it extra fun.
They had a blast and it was such a cute idea.
Perfect for the entertainer of the family!

Opening gifts from family on the morning of her birthday.

Gracie loving her party favors that we ordered just for her party!

Big brother didn't blow the candles out.
Little twerp was just faking her out.

Dubsmash Addiction

Ever since I learned about this awesome app,  the videos have been plentiful.  And I'm just talking about myself.  Seriously.  I'm somewhat addicted to it.

However, last weekend I got Eric and the kids involved and it was EPIC!
Here are few videos showcasing their best lip singing.

Our Heart Day

Our Valentine Craft

Ethan and Gracie made these adorable and easy puzzles using glue, popsicle sticks and a picture.  They love putting it back together over and over again.

The kids' Valentines for their classmates.

Our Annual Valentine Breakfast

Collage of our Valentine Decor

I also made the highly requested heart sandwich. for our lunch and
I was told that I need to be making it on a weekly basis and not just around holidays.
However I don't think it would be nearly as popular if I did that, so holiday sandwich it will stay.

Hope your Valentine's Day was full of love and CANDY!
