Last Game of the Season

Today was Ethan's last game so here is a video and a few pictures.
It was a such a great season and Ethan has learned a lot about baseball.
The coaches were great and definitely made it a fun experience for our kiddos.
We will miss our T-ball family this summer!

Can you see?

Hit it HARD!

Can you tell his hat got a lot of use? Yuck!

After we did the parent tunnel, the coaches
surprised the kids with water guns and water balloons!

Mommy & Son Date

The T-ball league that Ethan plays with was invited to a day out with our local minor league team, The San Antonio Missions. We got there about 2 hours before the game started for a clinic that was hosted by the actual players. We went from station to station learning about each position and what tips they use to help the team succeed. I thought it was really cool how they all took time out of their day to show our kiddos a thing or two. Although, they needed to speak up during their clinics but I think everyone talks to low anyways :P. After the clinic we all proceeded to our seats to watch the game. However, I think the highlight for Ethan was the food! He relished the fact that he got to eat nachos for dinner. Ethan is horribly addicted to blue I-CEE's so that was a must have item as well. It was a really good time and I enjoyed having my little guy all to myself!

Chocolate Fanatic

Lexie puts her hands in her mouth all of the time. She will push the hair out of her eyes when I am combing her hair. She will even grab my hand whenever I have food in it and bring it to her mouth. However, she WILL not pick up food by herself. She just looks at me and the food like "Are you going to feed me or not!" Well her therapist suggested we put chocolate pudding on her highchair and maybe that will motivate her to do it herself. As you can tell, it not only motivated her, but it made her into a chocoholic! I tried to get some pictures of her in action but anytime she sees the camera she freezes.

Our kind of Saturday

Saturdays for us usually start off really mellow, but as the day goes on it can get quite busy. Today was not one of those days for us. We enjoyed our quiet morning at home with a movie, went out to lunch with some friends and then ended the day with a t-balll game. Ethan played the catching position during one inning today which was a first for him. He did really well and even tagged two hitters out!

In the entrance of the restaurant there is this huge roadrunner,
so the kids wanted a picture with it.

THROW IT!! THROW IT!! ( I yell that all the time)

This was taken at the last minute so it is not as great of a shot as I would of wanted. That is Ethan playing pitcher and catching the ball that was just hit his way.

Look MA! No training wheels!!

"Mom, take a picture of me riding my bike with my eyes closed"
This child has no fear and I am hoping the idea of building ramp is at least a few years away.
