PCS season is now upon us and we can't believe that we will be hugging goodbye another great group of friends as we all move along to the next base and the next chapter. But before that can happen, we were able to squeeze in one final camping trip with some of our favorites and had a great time enjoying our last South Dakota Summer. There was hiking, swimming, and plenty of s'mores. South Dakota didn't hold back it's beauty which made it a perfect weekend to celebrate our time here.
This blog gives our family and friends a chance to be involved in our lives and watch our children grow. We have been blessed with four beautiful children; Ethan, Gracie, Lexie & Eli. Lexie and Eli were both born with Hydrocephalus. Siblings with Hydrocephalus is rare, yet not unheard of.

NOLA
Annual trip with my sweet friends to New Orleans was just what I needed in order to prepare for the craziness of summer and moving again. I was welcomed with open arms, sweet laughter, and candid conversations. We rarely get to talk to each other due to the craziness of life, but when we are together for OUR time, we are here as sisters. I'm so thankful for them and for the times they have carried me though the lows and highs. Who knew that one little playgroup full of mothers looking for support and friendship would produce so many life long friends. Even ones that aren't pictured here, so I consider myself a lucky gal! We had a blast exploring and eating our way through New Orleans and I love coming home from our trips with not only a renewed spirit, but a calmer mind. Oh, and an extra 10lbs. of food love!
