Ethan and I just got back from visiting our family in New Mexico. We had so much fun and the time went by so fast. It was really nice to go down during a non holiday month because we don't have to rush around and can really enjoy seeing everyone. It also gave Eric some time to get started on his thesis and to paint his old truck. However our trip had to end and we were missing Daddy but it was real sad to leave everybody. Ethan was wonderful on the way there but the plane rides back were different. Ethan wanted to run up and down the aisle and just wouldn't stop bothering people. You can always tell from the people who have kids to the people who don't. The ones who don't have kids seem to make the situation worse by giving those wonderful looks of "How dare you bring your little person on a airplane" We had 1 stop so I was really dreading the next plane ride but once I got on, the plane seemed to have more kids than adults. A lady and I were able to take up a whole row and Ethan and her son had fun playing together. It was wonderful! If one child started to scream or cry you got the wonderful look of "It could've been any of us and were used to it". Ohhh, if only we could have an airline that caters just to families with children or if I can win the lottery and get my own plane. Either one will make me happy :)
