Jellystone Park

Seeing how the kids were officially out of school and we had two weeks before we were packing up to move for Alabama, we decided to enjoy some downtime in the woods.  This was our first time visiting a Jellystone Park and it won't be our last.  Between the laser tag, the horseback riding, the waterpark, and many other family friendly events, I can see why people choose to go back every year.  We enjoyed our little getaway and can't wait to try another Jellystone Park in the future.

That's a wrap to 2015 school year

Lexie's last day of school was the day before Ethan and Gracie's last day of school and her class put on a little concert for the parents.  Seeing Lexie on stage enjoying her classmates and teachers makes my heart happy.  She blossoms more and more every year and I pray we continue to be blessed with remarkable teachers.

I thought it was super cute when she realized that I was sitting in front of her.

Cub Scout Rocket Launch

Ethan got to build a soda pop rocket with his cub scout troop and at the next meeting they had a rocket launch.  Ethan absolutely loved it.  He is our little engineer/scientist and gets a kick out of anything that flies.  The amount of books about missiles, rockets and WWII that he brings home is clearly an indication that he needs to have an job building something or even better dismantling something. ;)

Rocking the Talent Show

When Gracie told me that she wanted to enter her school talent show, I was a little concerned as she really doesn't play any solos yet due to the fact that she's still learning how to read music notes and applying them.  After her school music teacher and her drum teacher assured me that what she does now would be fine, we submitted her video and she got a spot.  She practiced all week and didn't seem that nervous, but once the day arrived I could tell she was feeling the butterflies.  I made sure to get there early for a front row seat because I was so excited and couldn't wait to catch her in action.  I was positively more nervous than her and it got even worse when I noticed that she was going to be the first performance.  She still didn't seem too phased by it.  However, once she started her performance, my nerves disappeared because it was simply awesome.  She can do things on her little drum set that I can't even duplicate as an adult.  I can't wait to see her talent grow and hope she continues to love playing her drums.

St. Petersburg, FL

My friends and I jetted off on our annual vacation for some rest and relaxation.
There are no schedules to abide by, little mouths to feed or the constant need to be the entertainment.
We love nothing more than lounging on the beach enjoying each other's company.

S'mores!!!
