Our year in Alabama has flown by and it's almost time for us to be making our way to our next duty station which will be in South Dakota. We're excited to see what new adventures are awaiting for us, but like every place that we have called home, we are sad to leave our sweet friends.
To kick off this transition period, we invited our friends over for one last family get together before the movers show up and we have to say our 'see you later' goodbyes. Seeing how Cinco de Mayo was approaching, a fiesta seemed like the perfect way to celebrate this chapter with our friends. The taco bar was hot and the margaritas were cold. Plus, the kids had fun jumping on the trampoline and hitting the piƱata.
I think it's safe to say that every child slept really good that night.
Lexie turned into our party animal and lasted longer than her sister and brothers.
She was having that much fun and I think she really enjoyed having the trampoline to herself
after it was busy all night.
I'm really going to miss these sweet families and once again,
I'm grateful to the military for bringing them into our lives.
Me and my sweet girls!
Churo, anyone?
